【Abstract】 The present paper gives description of a new species of the genus Apanieles Focrater.Apanteles buzarae sp. nov. (figs. 1-5)This species belongs to popularis-group (Nixon, 1965), and is closely related to Apa-nteles caberae Marshall,but is different from the latter as follows: the pteapical segment of antenna 1.6 times as long as broad; proppdeum with fine punctation except that trie po-stero-lattral area is smoother the median field of the second tergite smooth-looking and with longitudinal rugose directed towards the side of the lateral sulci. This new species differs. from Apanieles armenicus Tobias by the length of tergitel being 1.6 times longer than the width in the middle and spurs of hind tibia unequal, with the longer one reaching the middle of hind basitarsus.Male Similar to female ia many respects, except for antenna longer than body.Length ♀.♂ 2rnm.Host Buzura suppresaria Guenee.Cocoons Milky with yellowish and ball-heaped indiscriminately together on tree branches.Holotype♀, allotype♂, paratype 8♀♀, 3♂♂, Menhai (22°N, 100°18"E), Yunnan Province, 1983.
