【摘要】 <正> 河花蜉属Potamanthus Picted的绝大多数种类分布于北美,另外在欧洲和北非也有记录。在亚洲,由NavàS(1931)报道了印度的P.subcostalis,但他只对雌成虫进行了简单的描述,有些学者对此种表示怀疑;Imanisbi(1940)报道了采自中国东北和朝鲜的两种稚虫,由于没定出种名,又无成虫,此资料也鲜被正式引用。我们于1983—1984两年在大别山区采得此属的成虫、亚成虫和稚虫若干,经鉴定为一新种,现记述如下。更多还原

【Abstract】 Potamanthus huoshanensis sp. nor. (figs. 1-5)Male imago (in alcohol): Length of body 12-12.5mm; lateral tails (cerci) 23-24mm; median tail 15.5-17mm; fore wing 11-11.5mm. Body yellow-white with a wide median dorsal brownish stripe. Costal region and subcostal region of fore wing slightly yellowish, other parts and all veins colorless. Fore leg yellow-white, joints and claws purplish brown. Basal half of tails brown, apical half yellow-white, joints purplish brown. Compound eyes large. Ends of penes pointed.Female imago (in alcohol): Body 12-14.5mm; lateral tails 15-17mm; median tail 13.8 -16.5 mm; fore wing 11.5-13.5 mm. Color similar to male.Male subimago (in alcohol): Wings transparent, veins slightly yellowish. Shape and color similar to imago.Mature nymph (in, alcohol); Length of body of 11.5-12mm; ♀ 13.2-14mm. Ventral surface of body yellow-white; dorsal surface brownish with pairs of submedian yellow-white maculations on each tergite. Mandibular tusks short, with hairs and short spines on dorsal lateral surface and on whole lateral margin.
