【Abstract】 A new species of intranasal parasitic on the hamster of Shaanxi Province is described. All measurements are given in μm.Microtrombicula (Microtrombicula)qingjianensis sp. nov. (figs. 1-7)Color in life pale yellow. Idiosoma of engorged larva oval, length 604, width 458, with transversal constriction behind coxae Ⅲ. Eyes 2/2, on ocular plate. Dorsal setae 34, arranged as 2+(8.4). (6.2).6.4.2. Two pairs of sternal setae. Ventral setae 32-34ull = 43-45. Cheli-cera with tricuspid cap and a dorsal tooth. Galeal setae nude. Formula of palpal setation B-B-NNN(b)/6B. Palpal claw bifurcate. Scutum subpentagonal in shape, reticulo-punctate, anterior margin with shallow biconcavity; posterior margin covex, sensilla with 6-8 branches on distal half. PL≥ AM>AL. Scutal measurments of holotype and followed by means and ranges of type series in parentheses are as follows: AW 44 (45, 44-47); PW 56(54, 52-56); SB 25 (24, 22-26); ASB 26(25,23-27); PSB 28 (29,27-31); AP 28(27, 25-30); AM 31(32, 29-33); AL 21(21, 20-25); PL 33(33, 31-36); Sens 54 (55, 52-57). All legs with 7 segments. IP=703-724. Coxal setae 1-1-2.SIF=6B-N-2-2111-2000.Holotype (No. 85 SQ21-3) and 6 paratypes from Laoguan Miao, 1,000 m, Qingjian County (37°05′N, 110°07′E), ex greater long-tailed hamster, Cricetulus triton De Winton, in May, 1985, C. A. Huang coll. All of the type specimens are deposited in the Health and Anti-Epidemic Station of Shaanxi Province.This new species differs from all the known species of the genus Microtrombicula in the setae of scutum, dorsum and posterior venter slightly flat in shape.更多还原
