南海深海平原铁锰微粒的初步研究
A Preliminary Study on the Ferromanganese Particles of the Deep Sea Plain, South China Sea
【摘要】 本文对南海深海平原的铁锰微粒进行了矿物学、化学特征的研究,并与大洋锰结核进行对比和环境分析,提出成矿物质主要来自亚洲大陆,属低Co低Ni的大陆边缘海型铁锰沉积物。
【Abstract】 The ferromanganese particles in the South China Sea are mainly distributed in the north and southwestern deep sea plains. The abundance of these particles ranges from 0.05 to 0.49%. The grain size of particles are generally between 0.063 and 0.25 mm. Thses particles consist mainly of oxide and hydroxide of ferromanganese which are presence as amorphous body, and also of clay and detrital minerals. Analyses show that the particles contains more than thirty elements, such as Mn, Fe, Cu, Co, Ni, Pb, Zn, Cr and Mo etc., of which Mn has the highest content. Based on the chemical composition of the particles and characteristics of sedimental environment, the source of the mineralizing material of the ferromanganese is discussed.
