【Abstract】 The development of the uvea of the human eyes was studied in theembryos and fetuses, dating from seventh week to term. No intercellularjunction and basement lamina were seen around the cells at the front surfaceof the iris. At term, the composition of the Bruch’s membrane was just likethat in adults, i. e. basement lamina of the pigment epithelium, innercollagenous zone, middle elastic fiber layer, outer collagenous zone and thebasement lamina of the choriocapillaries.更多还原
