【Abstract】 Propyl gallate,i.e.801,is a derivative of gallic acid,which is isolated from Chinese herbal drug Paeonia rubra.It has strong ability in scavenging superoxide anion radical,inhibiting the increase in capillary permeability induced by intraperitoneai injection of 0.7% acetic acid 10 ml/kg in mice and the swelling of hind paw induced by hypodermic injection of 0.1% histamine 0.1 ml in rats,and reducing the polymerization of hyaluronic acid induced by superoxide anion radical.It is presumed that the compound possesses anti-inflammatory action.更多还原
