【Abstract】 Mouse myeloma cells were fused with spleen cells from BALB/C mice immunized withcell line of human small cell lung carcinoma. The hybrids were screened for monoclonalantibody production with intact cells in ELISA test and ABC staining. Three monoclonalantibodies SCI-2F7, 4B3 and 6H10 were chosen. In the ELISA binding assay, 24 celllines including liver cancer, stomach cancer, breast cancer, various leukemia and normallung were tested. The antibodies only reacted with the cell lines of small cell lung cancerneither with normal cell nor with other tumor cells. In the cell suspension ABC staining testthe antibodies were found reacted with some lung adenocarcinoma cell or liver cancer cellsweakly. Using immunobloting test, the M. W. of these antigen 2F7 and 4B3 are 50KDand 42KD respectively. We also observed a special reaction band appearing on 2F7 and4B3 with small cell lung carcinoma cells. The results suggest that further study is neces-sary to make clinical application of the antibodies possible.
