【Abstract】 A new developed process, "Vertex Method" for producing Aluminum-Graphite Composites by introduction of uncoated graphite particles directly into aluminium melt, has been investigated. A compayison study on the mechanical and physical properties of the composites under squeeze and gravity casting conditions were carried out. The results demonstrated that the Aluminium-Graphite Composite is superior in the wear and seizure resistance, damping effect and suitable for piston or other wear resistance parts.更多还原
