宽频带腔内辐射器的设计及其温度分布

【摘要】 利用改变同轴电缆结构作成的腔内微波辐射器,适用于治疗阴道癌和直肠癌。

【Abstract】 <ABSTRACT>The construction of a modified coaxial cable as an intracavitary micro-wave radiator suitable for use in some vaginal and rectal cancers is presen-ted. Thermometry is performed for microwave frequencies of 300MHz,400MHz, 650MHz, and 915MHz. Temperature profiles in phantoms withfrequency-specific materals were obtained and this collaborated with heatingpatterns obtained in dogs. The results were also confirmed by infraredthermography. The temperature profiles are dependent on frequency of themicrowaves and the length of the radiator. An additional lucite cylindricalspacers surrounding to the radiator significantly altered the heating pat-terns obtained, and thus its usage may be important in some clinical situa-tion.
