【Abstract】 Results from the application of Tussah streptococcus phage in biological control of Tussah empty-gut disease were presented in this paper. It was shown that the phage has significant effectson surface disinfection of tussah eggs, particularly the Na-phage . The hatching rate of tussah worms was not affected significantly by this treatment. Field tests demonstrated that the treatment could increase the production of tussah cocoon about 4 times. This method was effective, economical, simple, safe and easy to be popularized.更多还原
