【Abstract】 Pharmacokinetic studies of Cefotaxime were nvestigated in8olunteers. One gram of cefotaxime was given by ntramuscular and ntravenous injectons,respectively. The drug-serum and uirne leveis for a period of 24 hours were measuredby the bioassay method.The results showed that the pharmacoki-neties after intramuscular injection were an one-compartment model,while the Pharmacok inetics after intravenous injection were fit ted in a two-compartment open model. Themaximum serum level after intramuscular injection was 27.9mg/L at the post-administi ation of 1 hour and the bioavaility was 97.1%. The elimination half-life after int ramuscular and intravenous injections were 1.22 and 1.18 hours,respectively. The apparent volumes of distributron were 28.91 liters and 28.04 liters, respectively .The urine recovery during 24 hours after intramuscul ar injection was 51.84%, and intravenous injection, 64.21%.更多还原
