【Abstract】 Changes of chromosome 13 in the tumor cells of 12 retinoblastomas were studied. 13 monosomy, 13q-, 13 trisomy, ring chromosome,and a marker chromosome probably related to13 translocation were seen in 11, 4 , 2, 1 and 1 cases respectively. In 122 G-banding karyotypes 31.1% were 13 monosomy and 24.6% showed 13q-. So in our study 13q - was totally found in a little more than half(55.7%) of the tumor cells. It seems that del(13) (q14), though being somewhat related to the carcinogenesis of retinoblastoma, was not the unique chromosome change in the genesis of this tumor.更多还原
