【Abstract】 This paper has dealt with a study on the teratogenic and mutagenic potential of methamidophos. Experimental results revealed that no malformation appeared in fetus of rats attributable to the treatment. Methamidophos did some mutagenic activ- ities on Red Muntjac diploid Cells in vitro, but it did not show any mutagenic effects on (1) Salmonella typhimurium TA 98 and TA 100 (with or without S 9 mixture), (2) assays for chromosome aberration in bone marrow cells of rat and mouse, (3) micronucleus test in bone marrow cells of mouse, and (4) dominant lethal test on male mouse更多还原
