【Abstract】 Peculiarities and mechanism of propeller singing are described based on results of acoustic measurements and vibration excitation tests of a marine propeller.In order to predict singing of a full scale propeller, model experiments performed with simulation requirements, which are given in this paper, were carried out in cavitation tunnel.Methods for eliminating propeller singing are given on the basis of mechanism of propeller singing. The results of ship trials demonstrate that these methods are effective and can be applied to full scale marine propeller.更多还原
