【Abstract】 "Hepatitis disinfectant 333" contains 20% sodium dichloroisocyanurate, stabilizer, synergist and surfactant porous sodium. It is not deliquescent and is suitable to be processed into different forms.It was indicated in laboratory experiments that the HBsAg in diluted patient serum could be inactivated by the hepatitis disinfectant solution containing 500 ppm or 250 ppm available chlorine after exposing for 2 min or 10 min respectively and the inactivation rate was 90%. The disinfectant solution containing 250 ppm or 500 ppm available chlorine could also inactivate HBV-DNA polymerase after dwelling for 10 min or 5 min respectively. Although the purified HBsAg after exposing to the disinfectant solution containing 60~250 ppm available chlorine for 5 min showed no distinct morphological change under electron microscope, it could not induce immune response in mice after intraperitoneal injection. It is considered on the basis of above results that the "hepatitis disinfectant 333" containing 500 ppm available chlorine dwelled for 5 min, or 250 ppm dwelled for 10 min is powerful enough to inactivate hepatitis B virus.The "hepatitis disinfectant 333" is a drug of low toxicity and its oral LD5. for mice was measured to be 3598 mg/kg. The disinfectant solution containing 250 ppm or 500 ppm available chlorine could retain about 80% of its available chlorine after storing under 25℃ for 72 hr.It is considered that the ELISA test for measuring inactivation of HBsAg is more simple and practical than HBV-DNA polymerase inactivation test in disinfection experiment. Unified dilution of serum and concentration of HBsAg should be used to facilitate the comparison of disinfection results.
