【Abstract】 Based on optimal cross-section of gully for conveyance of water and permissiblenon-scouring velocity, the authors derived Q-S relation for optimal profilesand sections of non-scouring gullies, to be employed in the planning of general layout of sand-trap dams in gullies and design of profiles and sections of flood-discharging channels.
