【Abstract】 The experimental study on frictional sliding characteristics of 13 kinds of gouge in 5 points of Haiyuan fault was made by double shear test method. The experiments show that the existence of Haiyuan fault gouge is helpful to remove the stick-slip and to increase the frictional strength.
