水分胁迫对甜橙果实发育的影响
EFFECTS OF MOISTURE STRESS ON ORANGE ( CITRUS SIN EN SIS ( L. ) OSBECK. ) FRUIT DEVELOPMENT.
【摘要】 广东省一年中常发生旱涝交替,影响柑桔果实的发育。本研究的目的是观察不同时期水分胁迫对甜橙果实的影响,找出需水临界期。发现果实速长和砂囊液泡化的8月间,水分胁迫对果实的抑制最甚,其次为10月间。7月间水分胁迫对正常果的抑制是暂时性的,但易诱发“皱皮果”。台风雨期间果实有突发猛长现象。橙果发育受到土壤水分状况和空气湿度状况的双重调节。
【Abstract】 Citrus trees suffer from periodical drought caused by uneven distri-bution of rainfalls and inferior structure of predominant red soil in Guangdong Province of China. This may result in inhibited growth of citrus fruits. Potted orange trees grown under a plastic or glass roof we-re used to investigate how soil water deficit occuring in different pe-riods affected fruit growth and to find out the critical periods.August stress most seriously inhibited fruit growth when the fruits were at a stage of rapid expansion and vesicle vacuolation, causing al-most irreversible contraction of both the pulp and the peel.Late ( October ) stress, although caused lesser extent of inhibition, often resulted also in irreversible contraction of fruit diameter.It was-apparently associated with the declined potential of growth resump-tion in November and stress-induced earlier senescence of the fruits.Early ( July ) stress caused only temporary inhibition of normally-developed fruits but induced "creasing" of fruit peel. Spurts of resumed expansion of stressed fruits detected during typ-hoon periods were associated with the drastic drop of Water Vapour Deficits ( VPD ) .Moisture stress in August or later usually caused rising of both the percent of soluble solids ( TSS ) and the titratible acid concentration. TSS calculated on a per fruit basis, however, demonstrated a reduced influx of photosynthates into stressed fruits.
