【Abstract】 This paper reports the clinical protocols of ERG used frequently in our laboratory. The first routine protocol was simply to stimulate the 15 minutes darkadapted eye by a bright single flash. This protocol made us to obtain as much information as possible in a short periode of time. Another protocol that is to separate the rod and cone ERG activity was performed mainly by intense light flashing on and off at rate 25 per second on light adapted eye, and low intensity flash with a red or blue filter on dark-adapted eye. The flicker fusion frequency and red flash ERG activity derived from the cone system and blue flash from the rod system. The pattern ERG protocol was used to detect the foveal function in optic nerve disease. Based on our own experience, these protocols could be recommended in clinical routine test for its convenience.更多还原
