【Abstract】 This paper reports the result of gonioscopy of 205 eyes that were performed by filtering procedure. According to the appearance of anterior chamber angle, it could be divided into four types, Type Ⅰ had opening drainage fistula. In Type Ⅱ the fistula was obstructed. In Type Ⅲ the fistula was covered. Type Ⅳ had no fistula to be found. The fistula is closely related to the filtering bleb and intraocular pressure. Of the Type Ⅰ 96 eyes (70%) presented filtering bleb. The intraocular pressure control rate was high up to 90%. Of Type Ⅱ, the filtering bleb was absent, and the intraocular pressures failure rate was 90%. Of Type Ⅲ, the filtering bleb,was present and the intraocllar pressure was normal. In Type Ⅳ there was no filtering bleb, but the intraocular pressure control rate was about 50%. This study suggests that the patient’s fistula and filtering bleb is important for operative success. Effect should be done to get anterior chamber angle of Type Ⅰ.The authors emphasize that postoperative gonioscopy can be provided for prognostic indication.更多还原
