The silicate samples were successfully decomposed by using LiBO2 and a small amount of I2O5 as flux. De Jongh formula was used to calibrate the ma- trix effect, based on a theoretical α coefficient. The detection limits of 20 trace elements were 4.7-44 ppm with RSD 0.2-11.6% (n=10); the RSD of 10 major elements were 0.17-4.6% (n=10). Analytical results were listed.
