【Abstract】 Genniankang did not increase either the testis weight or the reactivity of the testis to pituitary LH in the old rats. No androgen activity was observed. The hcG/LH receptor function of the testis and the responsiveness of the pituitary to LRH were increased by Genniankeng in the old rats. Through adjustment of the function of the hormonal receptor, the regulatory function of the hypothatamus -pituitary-gonad axis was improved. It is suggested that this may be the possible endocrine mechanism of Genniankang in curing hy-pogonadism and chimacteric syndrome of male and female persons.更多还原
