铽在稀土硫氧化物二元体系中的光致发光
LUMINESCENCE OF TERBIUM ION IN BINARY SYSTEMS OF RARE EARTH OXYSULFIDES
【摘要】 研究了紫外线激发下,Tb3+离子激活的(Y1-nLan)2O2S、(Y1-nGdn)2O2S和(Gd1-nLan)2O2S三个二元体系的发光光谱、发光亮度和发光颜色等性能随着基质组成变化的规律性,并与阴极射线激发下的发光性能进行了对比。
【Abstract】 Tb3+-doped oxysulfides of lanthanum, yttrium and gadolinium are good cathodoluminophors. In order to find still more efficient phosphors, we have investigated the luminescent properties of some Tb-doped solid solutions of rare earth oxysulfides. A series of samples of the systems of (Y1-nLan)2O2S:Tb, (Gd1-nLan)2O2S:Tb and (Y1-nGdn)2O2S:Tb have been prepared by high temperature sulfidization of the corresponding rare earth oxides. Their luminescent properties under UV light excitation have been measured and discussed. The emission spectra of these solid solutions consist of multiple sharp lines, which can be assigned to the 5D9→7FJ and 5D4→7FJ transitions of the Tb3+ ion As Y, Gd were substituded by La in (Y1-nLan)2O2S:Tb and (Gd1-nLan)2O2S:Tb systems, the emission intensity of 5D3→7FJ transition of Tb3+ decreased obviously In(Y(7-n)Gdn)2O2S:Tb system as the concentration of Gd increased, the emissions of 5D4→7FJ transiton began to be the main emission. The composition-dependence of the luminous brightness and chromaticity coordinates of these systems were found. In binary systems of (Y1-nGdn)2O2S:Tb as Y was successively substituted by Gd, the luminous brightness gradually increased. As Y and Gd were substituded by La successively in the systems of (Y1-nLan2O2S:Tb and (Gd1-nLan)2O2S:Tb, the luminous brightness went up at first and then changed along a downwards concave curve Some of the above results have been compared with these properties of cathodo-luminescence.
