【Abstract】 The power rating of a V-belt of given type, material and structure depends on the belt speed (i.e. the diameter and angular speed of the smaller sheave), the arc of contact on the smaller sheave, the belt length,and the speed ratio. Experiments are carried out for verification of the theoretical optimum speed of V-belt drives and provide thus forceful basis for selecting the belt speeds in V-belt drive designs.更多还原
