【Abstract】 A new species of the genus Mortierella from Sichuan Province, China,is described. The fungus was isolated from both the stroma and the sclerotium of Cordyceps sinensis(Berk.)Sacc. It is named Mortierella hepiali Chen et Liu sp. nov. The new species is one of the producer of cordycein. For this reason, we think the fungus is of particular significance. The new species is different significantly from the known species of the genus Mortierella in some morphological characteristics which include type of the sporangiospore, lateral chlamydospore in the hypha etc.Type specimen (MHSU 030) of the new species is deposited in the Mycological Herbarium of Shanxi University (MHSU), Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China.更多还原
