【Abstract】 A systematic study has been carried out to optimize the solvents to be used for static coating of various stationary phases at 75℃. It has been found that for each stationary phase, there existed a certain optimal composition for a binary mixture, which could give the fastest coating speed for the stationary phase liquid solution. In regard to OV-101 and PEG 20M the most suitable binary solvents are 1:1 (v/v) of n-pentane and acetone, and 1: 1 (v/v) n-pentane aad methylene chloride, respectively.
