【Abstract】 This paper describes a simple and economical technique of DNA hybridization forsex determination.DNA samples were prepared first by digesting white blood cells orchorionic villi or amniotic fluid cells with pronase E and then underwent elcctrophoresison 0.8% of agarose gel.Hybridization of DNA was carried out on the gel in situ,without Southern blotting,with ³²P-labelled Y chromosome specific DNA probe.By thismethod the sex of a fetus at risk for hemophilia A was determined in the first trimesterof gestation as well as the sex of three patients with various abnormalities of sexohromosomes.更多还原
