【Abstract】 Discussion of Prof. Fumiko Kite’s formula is made here first. Based on Soedel’s work, a new formula for the natural frequency of penstock is presented. Good agreement with the observed values of the frequency of vibration is shown. For two circular cylindrical shells, model experiment and calculation by finite element method are carried in the second part, so that the suitable analytic method has been found.更多还原
