【Abstract】 A new form of injury,thermo-pressure complex injury had presented because of the development of thermo-pressure industry. It differs from common thermal injury and also from compressive of the soft tissue with some particularities about pathological, clinical and therapeutic aspects. Therefore, it should be to define as a new disease entity, named thermo-pressure complex injury. 3 cases was admitted in our hospital in 1984. All are male, 1 paper and 2 boiler workers. All 3 cases had injured by a fired cylinder of 120℃-150℃, resulted with the injury of skin, muscles, nerves and blood vessels. Resected the necrotic tissue and transplanted with skin graft of pedicle vessels which was anastomosis by microsurgery for 1 case. Amputated of one leg for one case and resected the soft tissue and performed skin graft for the third case. All 3 cases are cured except lost of one leg in one patient. For the different shapes of cylinders revealed different models on injury, it appeared parabolical line of injury area between the necrotic tissue and normal tissue. Usually, the injury invaded the peripheral nerve when the injured area is large. For treatment, fluid infusion should be given more than burn injury of the same T.B.S. Give more colloid fluid, akaline durgs and diuretics when a case has renal function impaired. Incision of skin should be done when there is interference of blood circulation of the limb. Amputation should be done when necrotic tissus area is over 1/2 of the skin of the whole limb.更多还原
