【Abstract】 A design of the Ⅴ/Ⅶ coder and Ⅶ/Ⅴ decodor are presented by the use of multi-variable Karnaugh map.The feature of the design is visual, simple and easy to master. Application of the coder and the decoder in data transmission system is described. The procedure and method of the design by the use of multi -variable Karnaugh map are explained.
