热带甜玉米微型繁殖的初步研究

【摘要】 本文报道了不经愈伤组织直接获得从外植体分化试管苗小植株的结果,以及可以产生性状一致的无性系微型繁殖技术在甜玉米上应用的可能性,讨论了将无性选种引入甜玉米育种程序以及玉米单粒选种和试管筛选相结合的新技术的可能性。

【Abstract】 Three types of cultural differentiation were observed for sweet corn (Zea mays subsp, saccharata), viz. , the generation of whole plantlets and the organogenesis of only shoots or only roots. The minor differences among the effects of four media on the shoot, induction were found to diminish after the third generation of subculture. It was shoot vigour other than its induction frequency that determined the rate of multiplication of somaclonal plants during succesive subcultures. Micropropagation of sweet corn, which could bring about somacloal plants with uniform traits, was thus established. The possibilty of introducing vegetative selection approach into sweet corn improvement was also discussed in the paper.
