【Abstract】 In this paper we calculated the large-scale vorticity budget during the mid MEI-YU season of 1983 and presented the mean horizontal pattern and vertical profile of budget equation terms. The significant residual near precipitation tegion was found to exist in the upper and lower troposphere. This result implies that convective scale motion exert an important effect on the vorticity balance.更多还原
