热带超长波结构特征及地形对其影响的理论分析

【摘要】 本文从浅水波力程组出发,在β平面上假定系统无源、无粘、有纬向基流,将方程组对基态进行线性化,然后对特征波动求数值解,据特征波动解分析讨论低纬超长波的结构特征。本文得出的几个结果:Rosssby波和Kelvin波仅产生于慢变介质中;无源模式中,低纬大气的Kelvin波的存在域可达副热带甚至中纬;地形侧边界强迫使Kelvin波的存在区域南压缩小,移速变慢,说明中纬大地形对低纬超长波有一定的作用。

【Abstract】 The shallow water equations based on an equatorical (?-plane are linearized for fhe motion with the zonal mean flow and without forced sources and viscous drag. The equations are analyzed as an eigenvalue problem and solved numerically for studing the structure charactristics of ultra-long waves in the low latitudes. The results suggest that the Rossby and Kelvin waves only are originated in the slowly varying medium fluid, the exsisting region of Kelvin waves extended to subtropical qone in the model without forced sources, but it shifted southward and narrowed, and the speed of Kelvin waves was suppressed by the north lateral boundary with topography, That’s to say, the topography in middle latitudes effects the ultra-long waves in the low latitudes.
