【Abstract】 The trends of growth and development of winter wheat’ sstem length and dry mater weight were studied by using the statistical methods of Logistic-growing curve[（ ）=K/(1+ae^-bt)],nonlinear equation[Y=at^b]. According to the data of stem length,stem diameter,the thichness of stem wall and the dry matter weight of each node of Yumai No.2 and Yumai No.4 in Xinxiang of Henan Province,the experimental results show that the trends of the growth and development on each node or total stem can be simulated by eq- uation[（ ）=K/(1+ae^-bt],the dry matter weight of each node or total stem can be imitated by two equations[（ ）=K/(1+ae^-bt),（ ）=at^b].Before or after heading stage,the increased quantity of the total length or the total dry matter weight of the stem per day aproaches the maximum which is described by equation[t=-ln（I/a）/b].Both Yumai No.2 and Yumai No.4 are incomp- letely alike in the number of node and the trends of growth and development and growing value of stem.更多还原
