【Abstract】 Of the 162 cases of acute renal fai-lure (ARF) reviewed, 102 had undergonehemodialysis. Males accounted for 66%(107), aged averagely 43 years, rangingfrom 12～75. Etiologic factors of ARF in thisseries were mainly attributed to medicalconditions (98), such as nephrotoxin(42), sepsis (27), and acute glomerularnephritis (8). The rest included surgical interventions, extensive injuries (to-taled 41) and obstetric complications(23). The overall mortality was 28%(46) with the death frequency of 48.7%(20/41), 34.8% (9/23), and 17.3%(17/98) from traumatic, obstetric andmedical disorders accordingly. Severesepsis appeared to be the prime cause ofdeath (28/46). The other causes wereacute lung failure (6), hemorrhagic shock(5) and hyperkalemia (4).更多还原
