【Abstract】 Super dynamic measuring system and WZDD-1 photo-elastic instrument were used for recording the dynamic process of stress wave propagation and extension of cracks and fissures in a laboratory with models made of cement mortar, marble and epoxy. Based on the results obtained from laboratory tests, one of the factors that affected smooth blasting, namely the effect of initiation simultaneity on production, extension and penetration of cracks between holes was studied.
