【Abstract】 A new gradient-index lens with Li-glass has been fabricated by the ion-exchangedTechnigue, In which a Li glass rod is immersed into NaNO₃ salt. Ion Li takenic out fromthe rod modifies the refractive index profile of the rod. The rod with radial parabolicindex profile is named "Slefoc lens".
