外差锁定式相干光通信

【摘要】 提出并研制了一种新的外差锁定激光频率调制系统,可用于相干光通信,并进行了闭环调频、调幅实验。对实用的外差锁定式半导体激光器光纤通信系统的技术条件作了讨论。

【Abstract】 A new frequency modulation system for lasers by heterodyne bias frequency-locking is proposed and developed. The technique can be used in heterodyne or coherent single mode optical communication. Experiments on grating-tuned CO2 laser system and Zeeman He-Ne laser system are described. Radio broadcast has been relayed in the locked system successfully. The conditions for practical optical fiber communication with semiconductor laser of heterodyne bias frequency-locked system are discussed.
