【摘要】 设计制作了10.6μm声光调制器。采川Ge晶体作为声光介质,用36°-Y切LiNbO3作压电换能器材料,器件的中心频率为40MHz。实验结果表明,器件的3dB调制带宽为5MHz,在6.5W的电功率驱动下,器件的衍射效率达70%。 还考虑了吸声和散热问题,设计和制作了一套水冷散热器,实验证明效果良好。

【Abstract】 An acoustooptic modulator,operating at 10.6μm is designed and made. Crystalling germanium is used as acoustooptic medium and 36°Y-cut LiNbO3 as pie-roelectric tranduccr material. The central frequency of this device is 40 MHz. The experimental results show that the 3dB modulation bandwidth of the device is 5MHz, and diffraction effciciency of 70% is obtained at 6.5W of RF electric driving power.Sound absorption and cooling problems are also considered. A water cooling sink is designed and made, and it shows a good performance in experiments.
