DISTRIBUTION OF QSO EMISSION LINE REDSHIFTS AND COSMOLOGICAL REDSHIFT
【摘要】 <正> This work is a continuation and development of our previous work. In this paper, we have discussed the influence of the selection effect in the emission line identification on the redshift distribution of QSOs. On the assumption that the redshift is cosmological, we adopt the standard cosmological model. We consider the effects caused by the evolution of QSOs and the limit of apparent magnitude in the surveys. The redshift distribution of the QSOs obtained from the slitless technique, slit spectroscopy and all QSOs observed have been calculated separately. The results are in good agreement with observations. Particularly, for the QSOs obtained from the slitless technique., these two distribution appear almost the same. Both the calculating distribution and the observational distribution give four peaks at the same positions and heights. Their linear correlatian coefficient is larger than 0.95. The result of this research, on the one hand, confirms that the clustering in the redshift distribution of QSOs
【Abstract】 This work is a continuation and development of our previous work. The result of this research, on the one hand, confirms that the clustering in the redshift distribution of QSOs results from the selection effect; on the other hand, it supports the viewpoint of the cosmological redshift. The analysis also gives some limitations to the evolution parameters of QSOs.
