【摘要】 <正> 1984年4—6月间,笔者在进行鲎的资源调查中,在我国北部湾沿岸浅海发现了一种过去国内无人报导的圆尾鲎Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda。据有关资料记载,它是现存的三属四种(中国鲎Tachypleus trideutatus、美洲鲎Limulus polyphemus、马来亚鲎Tachypleus gigas、圆尾鲎Carcinoscorpins rotundicauda)中,个体最小的一种。这种鲎不能食用,人吃后会引起中毒乃至死亡。因此,广西沿海渔民都叫它鬼鲎仔。现将圆尾鲎的分类地位和形态特征,以及与中国鲎的不同之处记述如下:更多还原

【Abstract】 The South-East Asia horseshoe crab (Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda) which is different from the China horseshoe crab (Tachypleus tridentaus) in many characteristics was first found in April, 1984 in the shallow water along the China coast of North Gulf during the investigation of marine horseshoe crab resources in China seas. It has six major differences in feature in adult animals comparing with T. Tridentatus and belongs to Arthropoda, Chelicerata, Merostomata and Xiphosura.更多还原
