【Abstract】 Since 1973, 77 patients (96 hands)withadduction contracture of the thumb havebeen operated upon.Split skin grafting wasapplied in 56 hands,Z-plasty 6,forearmisland fiap 6,free flap 4,abdominal tubeflap 4 and dorsal flap of the secondmetacarpal 20. Since 1981, 15 of 20 patients treatedwith the dorsal flap of the second meta-carpal have been followed up for half tothree years. The results were satisfactoryin 14 cases.The authors emphasized theadvantages on the use of the dorsal flapof the second metacarpal for repairingadduction contracture of the thumb.更多还原
