【Abstract】 In our previous communication, we proposed the structure 1 for huperzine A and structure 2 for huperzine B isolated from Huperzia serrata (Thunb.) Trev.=Lycopodium serratum Thunb., which are two new Lycopodium alkaloids with marked anticholinesterase activity and marked activity in increasing the efficiency for learning and memory of animals. Recently, the attractive result of clinical studies of huperzine A on the treatment of myasthenia gravis and Alzheimer’s dementia was also published.In this paper, we report the isolation, structural elucidation and chemical transformation of huperzine A, B and related compounds, and provide the detailed chemical and spectral data to suport our previous proposals.更多还原
