【Abstract】 In the winter when El-Nino occurred and the eastern Equatorial Pacific Sea Surface Temperature (SST) arose, the 500 hpa height field of the Northern Hemisphere was a PNA pattern (Bacific/North-America). The temperature in Heilongjiang in August was low. The pattern at 500 hpa was similar to PNA in winter. A lower temperature center with anomaly about-2.5℃ prevailed over the Heilongjiang Province. It was controlled by the East Asia trough.From April to August in El-Nino years, positive SST anomalies in the eastern Equatorial Pacific moved westwards at a speed of 10° longitude per month, and a correlative area with the East Asia trough moved westwards coincidentally.Analysis of the timedelay correlation(1-4)between eastern Equatorial Pacific sea Surface Temperature in April and the hemispheric 500 hpa height over Asia-Pacific region suggests that there was a heighern egative correlation area over East Asia and moved westwards regularly with time basically in agreement with the westwards path and the phase of the East Asia trough is closely related with the forming process of the cool August in the Heilongjiang Province,更多还原
