【Abstract】 A retrospective study on the diagnostic errors of 6 cases of primary pulmonary hypertension is reported. The disease is frequently misdiagnosed as congenital heart disease with left to right shunt, particularly atrial septal defect. The causes of diagnostic errors were: (1) The diagnosis was made in a hurry without a comprehensive diagnostic work-up. (2) On the routine chest film, the pulmonary hypertension might be confused with pulmonary plethora. (3) Cardiac murmur was incorrectly interprete as an organic disease, especially congenital heart disease with a left to right shunt.更多还原
