SG1402, SG1403 Large Cosmic Ray Scintillation Detectors
【摘要】 本文描述了500×500×50mm的大面积宇宙射线闪烁探测器的结构和性能,该探测器由于采用了塔式方圆型结构的空气光导箱和在光导箱内壁、闪烁体反射层用二氧化钛粉,使探测器对宇宙射线响应的全向谱单粒子分辨率达到53%,探测器响应的非均匀度达5.18%。
【Abstract】 In this paper the structure and the performance of 500×500×50 mm large cosmic ray scintillation detectors are described. As a result of using the tower-square-round-formed light guide airbox for the detectors and using TiO2 powder for the inside wall of the light guide box and for reflecting layer of the scintillators, the detectors obtained single particle resolution of cosmic rays respoase in all directions up to 53% and non-uniformity 5.18%.
