唐山地震的发震构造与成因的探讨
A DISCUSSION OF THE SEISMO-TECTONIC AND THE CAUSE OF THE TANGSHAN EARTHQUAKE
【摘要】 根据唐山地震的地质背景、某些前兆异常特征、地震裂缝的分布、震源机制等资料的综合分析,认为唐山地震是由于太平洋板块向西俯冲产生水平挤压应力和地幔上隆岩浆侵入产生的自下而上的挤压应力联合作用下,使围限在几条断裂间的唐山地块发生反时针扭动的结果,是在深浅地质构造控制下,在深部岩浆活动下发生的。提出唐山地震的构造──岩浆──热震模式。
【Abstract】 According to the synthetical analysis of geological background,some characteris- tics of precursory anomaly,distribution of seismic fissures.focal mechanism, etc. it has been considered that Tangshan earthquake is the result of the combined effect of horizontal compressive-stress due to westward subduction of pacific-plate and the up- ward compressive-stress due to mantle uplift and magma-intrusion.It has led to the counter clockwise twist of Tangshan massif, which is confined by several faults. The Tangshan earthquake occurred under the control of deep and shallow geological tecto- ni cs, and activity of deep magma. In this paper a tectonicmagma-thermo-seismic model of Tangshan earthquake has been suggested.
