【Abstract】 Based on the on-the-spot investigation and some data collected, this paper makes an essential exposition of the marble resource in the mountain area in North Tangshan, mainly in the Counties of QianXi, QianAn, ZuenHua, FengRuen, and YuTian as Well as the types of the deposit origin, the buried layer, the characters of the resource distribution, moreover, the evaluation and some varieties of the marble as commodity.
