【Abstract】 The paper compares various theories of wave trough pressure on the vertical breakwaters and gives out some experiment data which are used to verify the theoretical results, discuss the discrepancy and reliability of different theories.It is pointe out that distributiom form of wave trough pressure given by Sainflou’s formula is not very reasohable.The paper suggests some distribution diagrams of wave trough pressure which can be refered in the design of vertical breakwaters.更多还原
