【Abstract】 The hydraulic characteristics in water distribution of a perforated pipe system is searched in detail, and the calculating formula and nomograph for the pressure in the pipe are presented in this paper. It is proved by the ex Periments performed that the formula conforms with the result of the experiments on the whole. A method of arranging orifices with varied opening area according to the pressure variation in the pipe is suggested in order to ensure the uniformity of water-distribution in the low head filter.更多还原
